Some charge a platform fee and bill the AI model, the speech recognition, the voice and the phone line separately. Others add monthly plans or annual contracts. What goes into the price of an AI call
A single minute of an AI phone conversation uses five things:
- Speech recognition — turning what the caller says into text.
- The AI model — deciding what to say next.
- The voice — turning the reply back into speech.
- Telephony — the phone line and the number.
- The platform — the software that runs it all.
